Our journey began right on the frontlines of conservation. Our founders and senior management team spent decades navigating the steep volcanic ridges of the Virungas and mapping the hidden avian tracks of the Albertine Rift. We watched the miraculous recovery of the mountain gorilla population firsthand and recognized that sustainable, meticulously managed tourism was the absolute key to their survival.
Today, operating alongside our specialized consumer platform, Gorilla Experiences, we have grown into one of the region’s most trusted inbound ground handlers.
