  • Low-Season “Green Luxury” Incentive: For travelers exploring during the beautiful emerald months (November through May), a 30% permit reduction ($1,050 USD) is available. To qualify for this incentive, your itinerary must include at least two nights at our partner luxury lodges in either Akagera National Park (savannah safaris) or Nyungwe National Park (chimpanzee tracking).

  • Age Requirements: All trekkers must be 15 years or older to join a mountain gorilla trek.

An official Rwanda gorilla trekking permit costs $1,500 USD per person, per trek. To protect the wild gorilla families from human stress, park authorities enforce a strict limit of 8 guests per gorilla family, per day. Because of these tight limits, permits routinely sell out 6 to 12 months in advance.
